Boost Your PROFESSIONAL MOTIVATION with Hypnosis
Who hasn’t been tempted to go back to bed thinking about the upcoming workday?
Or who hasn’t already found their tasks so heavy that the best thing to do was to do something completely different – like “I’ll just check my messages, it will only take two minutes…”, and in the end spend two hours on it, rather than working on this report that’s due tomorrow?
Time passes like this, filled with useless things by pushing back what we should really be working on… Hello procrastination!
If this sounds like yourself, rest assured, you’re not alone.
Lack of motivation at work can affect anyone, at any time in their career.
What if Therapeutic Hypnosis could help you regain the desire, energy and pleasure of working?

What is motivation?
Motivation is one of the driving forces of human behaviour.
The word comes from the Latin movere, which means “to move”.
In other words, it is what drives us to “move” and take action to achieve something.
Without motivation, we would not be able to achieve our goals and move forward in life.
On the other hand, it’s not easy to stay motivated all the time.
Life is full of ups and downs that can impact our motivation levels.
Naturally, our unconscious – our deep mind – takes the easy way out. So, he’s not the one who’s going to push us…
For him, what matters is our survival, so of course filling out administrative forms, making a budget, writing a report or reading a textbook when the subject is imposed on us, are not part of this category…
Lack of motivation is a loss of energy or drive that comes from within.
Unfortunately, demotivation can have negative consequences on different levels.
– For those affected, it can result in a drop in productivity, a feeling of unease, stress and in extreme cases, impacts on physical and mental health, such as burnout or depression.
– For organizations, this often represents a decrease in the quality and quantity of work, an increase in absenteeism and turnover, impacting profitability and organizational culture.
If you suffer from depression, intense anxiety or anxiety attacks, it is important to consult your doctor or a psychologist.
What motivates us, exactly?
Psychologist Abraham Maslow, well known for his pyramid of human needs, argued that we are motivated by five categories of basic needs:
- Physiological: Eating, drinking, sleeping, sexuality.
- Safety: Protecting ourselves against the various dangers that threaten us.
- Belonging and love: Need for social contact, friends, family, and intimacy.
- Esteem: To be recognized as an entity within the groups to which we belong.
- Accomplishment: the need to grow, to use one’s potential. To get out of a purely material condition to achieve fulfillment.
To move from one stage to the next, every need would have to be met in order to access the next stage. Maslow believed that self-realization is achieved only when all previous stages have been adequately achieved.
As we know, life can have surprises in store for us, which is why this hierarchy allows for flexibility: a person can move from one stage to the next and then back up. As in life, this can involve a lot of back and forth and our motivation levels can vary, making certain stages and the needs associated with them more difficult to fulfill.

Why do we lose motivation at work?
The main reasons why motivation may drop are:
- Stress and Fatigue
A work/life imbalance, an excessive workload or overly restrictive hours. - Lack of recognition
The feeling that efforts and results are not appreciated or rewarded. - Repetitive or unstimulating tasks
Repeating the same tasks without novelty. - Loss of meaning
Not seeing the impact of one’s work or feeling like you’re contributing to something that is valuable to yourself and others. - Lack of career prospects
Lack of opportunities, professional development, or advancement. - Poor working relationships
Conflicts with colleagues or superiors, a toxic work environment or oppressive management.
The more discouraged a person is by the reasons mentioned above, the more difficult it is for them to regain their motivation.
Signs of a loss of motivation at work
In the workplace, who hasn’t heard the following words:
“I feel like I don’t belong, I don’t feel like I’m on my X.”
Isolation, reduced interactions with colleagues, lack of involvement in team activities…
These signs may indicate a lack of motivation at work.
Here are some other signals to look out for:
- Persistent fatigue and lack of energy
- Difficulty concentrating, frequent distraction mistakes
- Feeling like you’re “enduring your days”
- Procrastination and loss of interest in tasks
- Increased stress and irritability
If you recognize yourself in several of these symptoms, it may be time to take action.
And if these are particularly intense, with repercussions on your physical and mental health or on your sleep, don’t wait and consult your doctor or a psychologist.
Therapeutic Hypnosis: A powerful lever for professional motivation
Our unconscious loves pleasure.
So, to attract him to do something “less pleasant”, to then obtain a “reward”, he must be convinced.
And this is where hypnosis can help.
Hypnosis acts at the level of the unconscious, which influences our emotions and behaviours.
Through a state of deep relaxation, it allows us to access our own negative mental patterns and transform our ways of seeing things.
By reprogramming certain limiting beliefs and strengthening reward circuits, hypnosis can increase motivation, discipline and perseverance in the face of challenges, in the workplace but also in studies and sports.
How can Hypnosis help you regain the desire to work?
Hypnosis acts on professional motivation at different levels:
- Reduce stress and exhaustion
Chronic stress drains energy and leads to disengagement. Hypnosis helps calm anxiety and release tension. - Find meaning in your work
In a state of hypnosis, you can reconnect with your values, rediscover what drives you and find your meaning, your mission and your place in life. - Build self-confidence
Lack of motivation is often linked to low self-confidence. Hypnosis allows you to activate your deep resources and find a more optimistic state of mind. - Overcoming procrastination
Hypnosis helps replace procrastination with motivating behaviours, associating work with pleasurable sensations.

How Jerome rediscovered the pleasure of going to the office…
Jerome, a 38-year-old IT technician, had lost all motivation for his work, despite a flexible schedule and the possibility of telecommuting three days a week. He felt exhausted and no longer enjoyed his daily tasks.
After three hypnosis sessions, here is his testimony:
“From the first session, I felt an incredible state of calm. The hypnotherapist helped me identify my blockages and reconnect with what motivated me before. And I started enjoying my projects again! »
Self-hypnosis exercises to boost your professional motivation
During a hypnosis session, we often share with you a few tips that you can then easily do at home.
Here are 2 super simple ones:
1 – Positive projection 🏆
- Close your eyes and imagine yourself in an ideal working day.
- Imagine yourself motivated, focused and fulfilled.
- Feel this energy fully and let it fill you completely.
2 – Anchoring dynamism 🔥
- Associate a gesture (e.g., clenching your fist) with a memory of a time when you felt super motivated.
- Staying connected to this state, repeat this gesture while feeling a surge of energy.
- Repeat this ritual every morning before your workday – or whenever you feel like you need it!
